Litter frontwoman Shirley Manson has reunited the band a year after she stopped singing to set one's cap for an acting career.

Last March the star revealed she was hanging up her microphone to strengthen on chasing TV and movie roles, after landing a part in U.S. series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Revealing she was disillusioned with the status of the music industry, Manson complained, "I'm 42. I have been in bands since I was 15. There gets to a immaterial where you are stepping out in front of 100,000 people and your blood pressure doesn't shift."

But she appears to be preparing a surprise for fans, revealing in a function on her Facebook page that she recently spent time in the studio with former Crap bandmates Steve Marker, Duke Erickson and Butch Vig, who won a Grammy Award on Sunday for his exertion producing Green Day album 21st Century Breakdown.
