Can you use cork grease as slide grease for trombone?

I found something in my brothers clarinet patient that says "cork & tuning slide grease" and is a small chap stick like object.
can i apply this to my (not tuning)inner neglect of my trombone to lubricate it?

No. Do not use any class of grease for the slide. It is too thick and will make the slide very hard to move. It would also take you a lot of point to remove it. Only use that for tuning slides; slides that need to carry on stationary.
