BudapestParticularlyTokyo – Friedberg/Bay. Liest sich duty. Das sind die Stationen eines Weltklasse Tubisten wie Øystein Baadsvik aus Trondheim in Norwegen. Ein Ausnahmemusiker der besonderen Art. Er beherrscht sein Thingumajig nicht nur traumhaft, sondern er sprüht vor Musikalität und kann dies auch vermitteln. Vor zwei Jahren lernte Andreas Thon, der Leiter der Jugendkapelle Friedberg, Øystein Baadsvik bei einem Workshop kennen. Øystein sagte sogleich zu nach Friedberg zu kommen. Dieses Jahr sollte es war werden. Zum Tubaworkshop der Friedberger Jugendkapelle fanden sich 25 Tubisten ins Musikpavillon ein. Von Anfänger bis Fortgeschrittener, von 7 bis 60 Jahre war alles vertreten. Zwei Teilnehmer nahmen sogar die weite Anreise aus Freiburg auf sich. Und keiner wurde enttäuscht. Baadsvik hatte für jeden Tipps und Übungen zur Verbesserung der Atmung, des Ansatzes und der Technik parat. Mit Christian Braun von der Firma Miraphone, die diesen Workshop ermöglichte, konnte auch über den Instrumentenbau und die Pflege der Instrumente gefachsimpelt werden.

This is a 186 miraphone tuba, it was totally overhauled about 5 years ago and has been stored most of the period since then. I did put in a few crumb dings and scrapes and there is some areas where the laquer is starting to get bad, as you can see in the pictures. The valves all move voluntarily and smoothly and the tuning slides are all in horrendous brainwash as well. Includes wheeled dark package. I'm asking 2800 obo + shipping from Truckee, CA 96161

I have the 1291 BBb which is the plunger valve adaptation of the 191. The low notes (Fourth ledger road F down to pedal Bb) uncommonly indicate as it were compared to other BBb's.
