Hey! I have played the P85.. and i did not like the consume, it was waay too light, and i think the P80 is just worse.. but i think for that kind of money you get what yo pay for.

Brand new Digital Piano Yamaha P-85 doesn't turn on...

When my new P-85 Yamaha was brought home, I plugged it in and was competent to trade on for a few minutes. But then while playing it swiftly merely turned off by itself and won't trend back on again. I then started to tease and try to find a way for troubleshooting from the vade-mecum and checked the AC adaptor as well. At the AC power adaptor, it says that the input should be 120v - 1.5A. The paradigm outlets in my apartment are 220v. I don't seem to get it to calling. I then plugged it in again on a voltage ebb defender and it still doesn't disclose on.
