Instructor Chanler Bailey was a percussion main in college and is president of Mannette Steel Drums.

"I went and recruited a few people and unbiased started playing and taught people," said Bailey, "The fun part was they highbrow a song in a day."

One of Bailey's students, Jennifer Fauley is a software developer during the day.

Playing the low captain has become one of her passions.

"I love it, I don't want to give it up. I would be here two or three times a week if I could," said Fauley.

After custom the groups perform in public at area schools, the mall and festivals and events.

Bailey says a lot of his students don't have dulcet experience, but it's all about having a good time.

"I wanted people to have fun get to advised of other people and want to do things they weren't used to doing," he said.

Eastside Violence Indoor Percussion will be selling their 2010 Flower drums through Chops Percussion again this year.
