Joel Gilbert has a very intriguing and unusual background.
A resident of California, he once worked as an intern in the Washington D.C. charge of then Tennessee Sen. Al Gore.
While a student at the University of London, he focused on Islamic studies and the Arabic cant, and he’s produced two films pertaining to the Middle East, one of which is to be released later this month.
He earned an MBA at George Washington University in D.C., and went on to toil as a financial analyst for Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
He employed to manage a band.
He’s also in a band himself.
He’s the take singer.
He’s Bob Dylan.
And this weekend, he’s coming to the borough of Norwell.
On Saturday, Feb. 6, Highway 61 Revisited, Gilbert’s Bob Dylan acclaim band, will perform at The Company Theatre on Accord High-pressure in Norwell.
The show, which will feature acoustic and electric guitar amusement as well as the old harmonica, begins at 8 p.m.
