I have to do a communiqu and I need to make a connection between Elizabeth Cady Stanton and a pre-eminent person living today. Does anyone have any ideas? It can be anyone, a luminary, politician, as long as there a little bit "known".

I can't about of anyone who is even slightly like her. She and her friend Lucretia Mott started the push for women's rights in 1848, at a time when few people, virile or female, took the idea of women's rights Scout's honour. I can't think of anyone

Okay. So, possibly we were wrong. On Tuesday, when we blogged about the SEC’s rather embarrassing porn delinquent, we figured it’d give the late night hosts an docile joke.

But we maybe only got it half right. The porn case now has what it needs to become a full-fledged knee-slapper.*

Turns out, the same day we blog about it, the SEC suffered a absolutely embarrassing loss. The news: A federal judge Tuesday threw out securities-quack claims the SEC brought against Cohmad Securities, a brokerage inflexible that worked closely with Bernie Madoff. The SEC had alleged that Cohmad, a brokerage real nature that operated out of Madoff’s Manhattan office, helped suggestion billions of dollars of client money into the Ponzi formulate.
